Very entertaining

Jeff Miller certainly did his homework. This is a very interesting story about how Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson started their careers and how their paths crossed first at Glen Garden. It will go in my permanent research library as well as in the Ben Hogan Museum of Dublin, Texas.

My days at Glen garden

Excellent research. It showed a softer side of Ben Hogan, a side that I always thought was there. We were members of Glen Garden in the 60s and early 70s. I learned the game here from Bill Bradford. I saw Hogan play at the Colonial, when I was a kid. I saw Nelson play an exhibition with Marty fleckman and Mickey mantle at Ridglea. I speant many hours as a boy at Glen Garden before we moved to Florida and PGA National. Enjoyed my days at Glen Garden much more.
This brought out many things that other biographers did not bring out.
The first trophy I ever won was in the club s Jr. Championship.

If you love golf and golf history, a must read. Worth reading, if nothing else, for Byron's conversation with his doctor prior to surgery! What a role model he is.
