Buy the hardbound book and skip the poorly formatted Kindle edition

I like to use Kindle on my iPad Air for reference books/textbooks while I am using them with my work (biochemistry/biophysics research). While this monograph is a reasonable review of the oxidation of a range of biomolecules, the translation to Kindle leaves a lot to be desired. Formatting of chemical species is terrible, with varying typefaces, type sizes, subscripting, etc. making the text very difficult to read. Figures are low resolution and many are blurry. A nice feature of the iPad is that you can blow them up to full screen to see details. At least with many textbooks you can, but not this one. I'm very disappointed and now wish I had purchased the hardbound book. It may be heavy but at least it is legible.
