A warm and interesting Journey

Anyone interested in History or Spirituality will find this a welcome read. David Adam's books are very "Reader Friendly", beautifully written, factual, warm and filled with fascinating anecdotes that will keep you engrossed throughout. Once you finish you will want to read another. Don't pass this one by!

Good, Concise Introduction

I used this excellent introduction to the island and its history to prepare pilgrims for a day on Lindisfarne. It was just what we needed. Good source for an overview of both the religious significance and the life of the villagers over the centuries.
